  • “Our vision is to see God given transformation for the people in the estates of Hull, from chaos, isolation and hopelessness, to stability, community and fullness of life”.

    ~~~
    Eternal Benefits provides services and activities which help the most complex and hardest to reach residents in the estates of Hull develop stability, integration, life skills and aspirations.
    We work in areas of abject deprivation particularly with children, young people and the elderly.
    We help over 150 people each week, including families living on benefits, long term unemployed, asylum seekers and refugees, homeless people, ex-offenders and those struggling with drug problems and mental health issues.
    Some of these will be children and young people living in abusive homes to elderly living in poverty due to isolation.
    Eternal Benefits is a registered charity dedicated to providing services and activities for individuals of all ages.
    Our mission is to support those experiencing urban deprivation and to engage hard‑to‑reach residents of North Hull, helping them to build stability, integration, and essential life and social skills.
    We operate a range of community initiatives, including:-
    • Furniture and Swap Shop
    • Recycling Enterprise
    • Community Café
    • Food Larder
    • Community Garden
    In addition, we are able to facilitate adult learning opportunities, such as English language classes for immigrants, upon request.
  • Announcement of the Passing of Ian Warelow
    It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ian Warelow on Friday, 15 May at 3:00 pm. Ian’s final moments were peaceful, surrounded by love and held close by his family.
    His wife Lynn shared these heartfelt words:
    “This is the hardest, saddest and most heartbreaking message to send. Ian passed away on Friday 15th May, 3 pm. Ian’s final moments were peaceful, surrounded by love and with his family. Ian is now with his Lord Jesus. Ian knew such a lot of people. If you knew Ian at all you will know he loved God with all his heart, he served him well, he never let his health get the better of him. He loved his family and as a family we are heartbroken and we will miss him so much. I know many of you will want to be part of celebrating Ian’s life with us, and we really appreciate that. We’ll share further details as soon as we’re able.”
    Ian was a man of unwavering faith, steadfast devotion, and remarkable resilience. He touched countless lives through his kindness, his service, and his deep love for God and for others. His absence will be felt profoundly by all who knew him.
    Details regarding the celebration of Ian’s life will be shared once arrangements are finalised.
